Long Description
I am a lonely blue dot in a very red, semi-rural area of Texas. I’m the co-founder and Executive Director of a horse rescue, and I also run Vanbasti Farms where we raise Swedish Flower Hens and I pursue my creative side as a fiber artist.
I sell hand-spun yarn, fiber for spinning, and hand woven and crochetted items. It does seem a bit counter-intuitive to make woolly things when you live in such a hot place, I know, but I just love all the colors and textures of fiber.
When you buy from my shop, you support a disabled fiber artist and help feed this menagerie of critters at my little farm.
