I am a (liberal) botanical artist and pet portraitist.
Long Description
I reside in the Hudson Valley, NY, painting, drawing, gardening and hiking through the woods searching for specimens. My background as a Doctor of Chinese Medicine and love of gardening has really influenced my subject matter.
I’ve received my certificate in botanical art from the New York Botanical Garden and am a practicing artist. I translate my passion for healing, medicinal and beautiful plants through colored pencil, graphite and watercolor. My desire is to now help facilitate healing through, as well as educate about, the therapeutic nature of plants through art. Being an animal lover, I also find it really gratifying to paint pets!
