Consulting, strategy and coaching services
Gina Kazimir provided consulting, strategy, communications and coaching services to a range of organizations with a focus on nonprofits. An accomplished, dynamic leader, Gina Kazimir brings a diverse skillset and wide-ranging experience to help clients build on their strengths and achieve success.
She has served in executive management for five nonprofit organizations ranging from small arts companies to a major museum and a county arts council. Most recently she has served as Executive Director for Pets on Wheels, where she managed a turnaround from significant challenges to healthy reserves and a thriving service model. Kazimir also served as the president of the Community Arts Alliance of Maryland, as a grants evaluator for the Maryland State Arts Council and presented a leading-edge workshop on “Arts and Social Action” in the mid-1990s. She has regularly been interviewed in the media on a wide range of topics.
As a consultant, Kazimir helps organizations and individuals define and achieve success. She provides executive coaching and business development consulting, strategic planning and communications services, evaluation and assessment services and more. She serves as an officer and board member for multiple nonprofits, including the local NAACP chapter.
As the founder of PR Right Now, a boutique strategic communications firm, Kazimir provides internal and external communications for an array of clients, such as College Savings Plans of Maryland, Visiting Angels, Davis Funds, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, Deerfield Senior Health Care, United Way of America, Allfirst Bank, Nutramax Laboratories, National Animal Supplement Council and regional and local companies.
In the communications arena, she has developed key strategies for national regulatory and consumer issues, including credit union field of membership access that resulted in coverage in The Washington Post and other regional and national media outlets, and the availability of nutritional supplements for companion animals including a challenge in Iowa that resulted in major coverage by the Wall Street Journal. More recently, she developed an op-ed for the College Savings Plan of Maryland that ran in The Baltimore Sun, Sacramento Bee, Baltimore Afro American and Cleveland Plain Dealer among other outlets.
Kazimir served as an Adjunct Professor of public relations at Rutgers College, Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. In addition, Kazimir is certified as a mediator by MICPEL/Maryland Bar Association.
